WP-DUDE Partner Directory Terms

Rules for using the free WP-DUDE freelancer and partner directory.

The WP-DUDE Partner Directory is free. Contact freelancers via links in their profile - there is no relay contact form on WP-DUDE.

ยง1. Service provider and contact

  1. The WP-DUDE Partner Directory is operated by WP-DUDE.COM KAMIL BIAลOBRZESKI, ul. Popowicka 106 lok. 8, 54-238 Wrocล‚aw, NIP: 8942934037, REGON: 542468090, email: support@wp-dude.com ("WP-DUDE" or the "Provider").
  2. You can contact support@wp-dude.com about the directory, privacy, complaints, moderation appeals, and content reports.
  3. These terms are available free of charge and can be saved and reproduced.

ยง2. Definitions

  1. Directory - the public section of WP-DUDE for professional profiles and potential cooperation.
  2. Profile - data, descriptions, photos, links, and materials about a freelancer or approved provider.
  3. Profile Owner - the person who submitted the profile and may manage it and submitted materials.
  4. Client - a visitor who contacts the Profile Owner via links published in the profile.
  5. User - Profile Owner, Client, or anyone using the directory.
  6. Content - data, texts, photos, logos, portfolio items, links, and other materials submitted by users.
  7. Moderation - review of content for compliance with these terms, the law, security, and quality standards.
  8. Badge - an additional profile label described in ยง9.

ยง3. Scope of the service

  1. The directory enables profile submission, email confirmation, moderation, publication, updates, removal, search, contact via external links in profiles, and content reporting.
  2. Profile publication is free.
  3. WP-DUDE does not guarantee acceptance, ranking, traffic, leads, or uninterrupted availability.
  4. The directory is not a payment system, contract party, or guarantee of project delivery unless agreed otherwise in writing.

ยง4. Terms of use

  1. Profiles may be submitted by adults (18+) with full legal capacity.
  2. The directory is for freelancers and small teams in web, e-commerce, software, design, marketing, SEO, automation, and related fields.
  3. One profile per user unless WP-DUDE agrees otherwise.
  4. You need internet access, a current browser, and an active email address.
  5. Unlawful content is prohibited.

ยง5. Contract formation and termination

  1. The service contract is formed when you submit the form after accepting these terms.
  2. Submitting the form does not automatically publish the profile. Publication requires meeting requirements and moderator approval.
  3. The profile service contract is indefinite and may be terminated by the Profile Owner by requesting profile removal.
  4. WP-DUDE may end the service if the profile violates these terms or the law, data is misleading, the user lacks rights to materials, the profile is used for spam or abuse, the user fails to update despite requests, or continuation is impossible for technical or legal reasons.
  5. Where possible, WP-DUDE provides reasons and information about appeals.

ยง6. Submission and profile content

  1. Users provide required form fields and may complete optional fields.
  2. Users declare that information is accurate and not misleading; they may use the stated name or brand; they have rights to submitted materials; publication does not infringe third-party rights; they will not publish client data, trade secrets, or special-category data; they will keep data up to date.
  3. WP-DUDE may request corrections, shortening, clarification, or documentation.
  4. Moderators may fix obvious technical or spelling errors without changing meaning. Material changes require Profile Owner approval.

ยง7. Public data, email and phone

  1. Fields marked as public are visible without login and may be indexed by search engines and copied by third parties.
  2. In directory v1, owner email and phone provided at signup are not published on the profile. They are used for account management and verification.
  3. Publishing email or phone on the profile requires separate opt-in when that feature is available.
  4. Private management data does not become public just because it was submitted.

ยง8. Licence and materials

  1. Users retain rights to submitted materials.
  2. Users grant WP-DUDE a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the duration of the profile, covering storage, public display, formatting, thumbnails, and directory presentation.
  3. The licence does not cover using photos or logos for independent directory promotion on social media without separate consent.
  4. After profile closure, WP-DUDE stops new public use except for technical, evidential, and archival copies retained per the Privacy Policy and law.

ยง9. Moderation and badges

  1. Profiles are moderated before publication and after reported changes or violations.
  2. WP-DUDE may refuse publication, limit visibility, request fixes, suspend, or remove profiles.
  3. Automated tools may assist moderation, but material restrictions are reviewed by a human.
  4. "Email confirmed" - access to the stated email was verified. Not full identity or skills verification.
  5. "Professional identity confirmed" - elements described in the directory badge explanation were checked.
  6. "Worked with WP-DUDE" - prior cooperation with WP-DUDE took place.
  7. "Recommended by WP-DUDE" - curatorial label based on real cooperation or community knowledge. Not a guarantee of future projects.
  8. Badges do not transfer liability to WP-DUDE or replace independent client verification.

ยง10. Prohibited content and conduct

  1. illegal content;
  2. impersonation;
  3. false qualifications, portfolio items, references, or experience;
  4. infringement of copyright, trademarks, image rights, or confidentiality;
  5. publishing third-party data without proper basis;
  6. spam, unauthorised affiliate links, malicious URLs, or link-farming content;
  7. discriminatory, defamatory, violent, or fraudulent content;
  8. files, code, or links that threaten security;
  9. duplicate profiles or bypassing moderation decisions;
  10. using contact data for unsolicited marketing, bulk messages, or harassment.

ยง11. Contact and contracts between users

  1. WP-DUDE provides contact links in profiles (website, LinkedIn, portfolio) but does not negotiate or sign contracts on behalf of users.
  2. In directory v1, WP-DUDE does not operate an on-site relay contact form. Contact happens outside the directory via profile links.
  3. Freelancers and clients agree scope, fees, deadlines, confidentiality, IP, and liability independently.
  4. Parties should sign a separate contract appropriate to project value and risk.
  5. WP-DUDE does not store message content sent outside the directory (email, messengers, external site forms).

ยง12. Liability

  1. WP-DUDE is liable for providing the directory service as described in these terms and mandatory law.
  2. WP-DUDE is not a party to freelancer-client contracts or a guarantor of project delivery unless agreed otherwise.
  3. Listing in the directory is not a guarantee of skills, availability, solvency, reliability, or future service quality.
  4. Profile information comes from the owner, who is responsible for accuracy, legality, and rights to materials.
  5. Users should independently verify the other party before cooperating.
  6. Project, payment, deadline, defect, confidentiality, and IP disputes are resolved directly between parties.
  7. WP-DUDE is not liable for breach of a direct freelancer-client contract unless caused by WP-DUDE or a separate agreement.
  8. Nothing in these terms limits WP-DUDE liability where mandatory law prohibits it.

ยง13. Reporting illegal content and violations

  1. Anyone may report content via the profile form or support@wp-dude.com.
  2. Reports should include the profile URL, reasons, reporter name and email (unless law allows anonymity), a good-faith statement, and supporting materials.
  3. WP-DUDE acknowledges valid reports, reviews them fairly, and informs about decisions and appeals.
  4. WP-DUDE may promptly restrict access to unlawful content upon credible notice.

ยง14. Complaints and appeals

  1. Complaints about the directory: support@wp-dude.com.
  2. Complaints should include contact details, problem description, profile URL if relevant, and expected resolution.
  3. WP-DUDE responds within 14 days unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
  4. Profile owners may appeal moderation decisions per instructions provided with the decision.
  5. Appeals are reviewed by a human, not solely by automation.

ยง15. Personal data

  2. See the WP-DUDE Privacy Policy for purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention, and rights.
  3. Accepting these terms is not consent to all processing. Optional consents (public email/phone, promotion, marketing) are collected separately when available.

ยง16. Downtime, changes, and closure

  1. WP-DUDE may perform maintenance causing temporary unavailability.
  2. WP-DUDE may change or discontinue the directory for important technical, legal, security, or business reasons, respecting acquired user rights.
  3. Material terms changes will be announced in advance to active profile owners with effective date and option to end the service.
  4. New terms do not apply retroactively unless required by law or beneficial to users.

ยง17. Final provisions

  1. Polish law applies, subject to mandatory consumer and user protections.
  2. These terms do not limit rights of consumers or sole traders where law provides protection.
  3. If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in force where permitted.
